Our Clinics and Services


If you need to speak to or see a clinician, please call the surgery Monday-Friday at 08:00 on 0161 622 9220. The receptionist will ask the reason for the appointment so that you can be directed to the most appropriate clinician. 

You can also book appointments online. Please call into reception to get your online access pin. 

The surgery offers same day access for all patients under the age of 5.

You can book appointments upto 6 months in advance.

All our clinical rooms are on the ground floor, giving easy ccess for disabled patients.

The practice nurse will see patients who suffer from the above listed diseases and mnanage the care of these patients. The nurse will refer patieents back to the doctor if necessary. The practice expects to see patients from Asthma/COPD, DIabetes, Coronary Heart Disease, Hypertension and Depression at least once a year for an annual review, and more than once a year if the disease is not well controlled.

Minor Surgery

Dr Abbas runs a minor surgery clinic every Wednesday and you will be contsacted with your appointment date and time. 


Child Health Immunisations and Surveilance

The surgery offers a full childhood immmunisation service on Thursdays (12:00-15:00). Shortly after your baby is born you will be given a choice to sign up for this service. You can also sign up to have your child immunised at Health Authority Clinics but having the immunisations carried out at the surgery helps us allows us to get to know you and your baby better, so we are aware of any problems you make have.

This encompasses a programme of regular developmental and screening checks at key stages from birth to 18 months of age and a service to provide advice to parents on all aspects of childcare up to school age. The community-based Health Visitor service is the key component of this service, although one important check is usually carried out by your GPs.


Annual Influenza vaccine

Influenza Vaccination is reccomended for all patients aged 65 years and over. It is particularly recomended for patients with Heart Disease, Asthma, Kidney Disease, Diabetes and residents of nursing/rest homes. Please contact reception staff for details and to book an appointment.


District Nurses

They are based in house and provide care for chronically and terminally unwell patients. They also perform wound and ulcer care, injections and provide incontinence advice.
